This is a quilt that I made a while back - and since the flying geese blocks are what I call cheater blocks (they are folded instead of sewn) which actually would cause major problems when quilting. each square is an individual design (large and small squares on each row), Each side has a separate border.... I love the combining of the tulips I did and I am having fun quilting it.

looks like it was hard work and very elegant...
Pale colors work best - you can use different colors for your layers or the same I have done them both ways...
Use and 8.5 by 11 piece of paper
score fold in half
trim to the size of your embossing folder
Cut four or more strip different widths to glue across the front of the card
glue them down with a little space in between...
Run the card through your embossing machine with a detailed embossing folder
ink over the embossing to bring it out so you can see it if you do pastle colors for your card you can use browns for the inking to make it look ore antique.
